We are not a streaming service who can pull the cord in a second if a certain political view isn’t shared by an artists they supposedly there for.

I try stock a worldwide selection of Hip-Hop, Funk, Soul, Lo-Fi & Boom-Bap instrumental records & cassettes.

About Us:

Our humble beginnings took root in a closet-sized space inside the Red Rose Coffee House and Bistro in Murfreesboro, TN.  In 2001 we were known as PhatWaxTrax--providers of House,Techno, Drum & Bass & just a tad of hip-hop until 2003 when we lost our space due the city condemning the old former dairy building. The building sat and deteriorated and was demolished in 2011. During this time period Serato software was established and all of my clients were vinyl DJ’s and many switched to digital files. My distributor went bankrupt during this time. I felt defeated and fighting a hopeless battle and I gave up. Here I am 49 years old and 25 plus years later keeping real hip-hop alive in physical form. In February 2025 I got curious and acquired my business license.  I decided to start fresh and begin the journey online selling vinyl and cassettes.
